Fishermen

And when twilight veils the horizon,

The fishermen return to shore.

Their weary bodies adrift in the salt-kissed air.

But eyes remain sharp, ever-searching,

for the flicker of silver fin beneath the surface,

the glimmer of hope that dances in the depths,

beckoning them to set sail once more.

Bound by the unwavering call of the sea,

forever drawn to the rhythm.

And so they cast each day anew.

for in each sunrise lies infinite possibility.

and in each wave, a chance at redemption.

In the evening's gentle embrace,

Eyes gaze at the heavens.

Weathered hands clasped in gratitude

For the bounty harvest brought forth.

With a heart overflowing, whispered,

"Thank you, dear sea, for your gifts bestowed,

For in this dance of fate we have

found our true home.”
