Ripples
As thoughts yawn and rise,
Telling tales from yesterday's Jack Daniels.
Spitting out chiffon and lace,
Lovers twirl and wrestle.
The bird song taunts.
Air loft breezes,
As a swan teases a lake.
Little ships bid adieu,
While angels leaving their shifts return home,
To the kitchen flat line,
Breathing lattes and cappuccinos.
